Requirements
Basic understanding of irrigation principles and construction
Associate’s degree with 2 years relevant agriculture or construction experience or Bachelor’s degree in construction or agriculture related field
In-depth knowledge and operation of Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver's license
Minimum 21 years old
Farming experience or background preferred
Construction experience or background preferred
Compensation
$70,000-$80,000/year DOE plus commission structure

Design irrigation systems using Excel and AutoCAD
Create parts lists based on designs
Interact with salespeople to ensure critical information for system design is gathered
Supervise Engineering Team across multiple locations hire and mentor drafters and engineers
Oversee quality control of all engineering designs and parts lists
Set and enforce design standards to ensure continuity throughout company designs
Design and size pumps, sump structures, and reservoirs
Research vendor product lists, specifications, and technical documents
Automation system design troubleshooting
Use AutoCAD to create valve details, parts, and filter stations
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment sold by Central Irrigation
Organize Central Irrigation part library within AutoCAD
Construction management of detail oriented special projects
Requirements
Complete understanding of irrigation design related equations and procedures
Associate’s degree with 2 years relevant engineering or agriculture experience or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or agriculture
In-depth knowledge and operation of Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD
Hands on troubleshooting mindset
Thorough understanding of surveying
College level coursework in fluid dynamics and basic soil water plant relationships
Farming experience or background preferred
Compensation
$85,000-120,000/year DOE plus potential bonuses
